Update 2/08/2012: Definitely, a substantial quantity of reviewers have had fairly distinct experiences with their chargers than I've had with mine. This may perhaps be the cause: When I purchased my charger, there was only 1 supplier. Now, there are a lot of. My assumption is that the supplier I purchased from (and sorry, but I can not don't forget the name) was selling the real deal, but some of the present suppliers are indeed selling inferior knockoffs. I based my overview on my private expertise at that time.
I guess there's an additional bottom line: Buyer beware.
