Consumer Critiques
Purchasers TAKE NOTE: To use this frame/bezel, you will have to [surgically] get rid of the Property button switch, its metal bracket and the plastic House button top rated from your old iPod bezel/frame. I advise employing a fine-gauge soldering iron to soften the small plastic standoffs, then rather carefully remove the metal bracket and replace it with your old one particular, re-melting the suggestions of the plastic standoffs to hold it in location. These are tiny, fragile elements. Use care and do not overheat it!
I gave it three stars mainly because the pre-cut adhesive performs terrific, the bezel fits the Apple OEM digitizer glass completely, and that is worth a thing. It is my opinion that the seller need to be explicit in stating that the buyer will have to remove the metal bracket and replace it with an OEM bracket/switch assembly from a genuine iPod. I was mislead about this, and I am confident others will be as properly.
However, with work, it does function.
